No-Spam Policy
Unsolicited Commercial Email (UCE), or spam, is junk mail sent via email. Internet users have become increasingly aware of the problems associated with spam as it becomes more and more widespread.
If you have received spam that appears to have come from NAIFA.com, be assured it has NOT. NAIFA sends email related to NAIFA business and the appraisal profession to its members and other interested parties, directly and via partnerships with other organizations. If you receive spam with a From or Reply-To address containing @naifa.com, please understand that it has not come from NAIFA.
From addresses and Reply-To addresses in email messages can easily be forged and are often forged by spammers to prevent bounce-back messages and reports of abuse. Spammers’ use of @naifa.com email addresses as fraudulent From and Reply-To addresses is not unique to NAIFA.com – it happens to all websites and domain names. It is also fairly impossible and time-consuming to track and prevent.
If you are interested in tracking and reporting perpetrators of spam you have received, there are many resources on the internet that can help you. Try a search in any search engine for “tracking spammers”.
If you have any questions about NAIFA.com or e-mailings from NAIFA.com, you may contact the NAIFA National Office at info@naifa.com.
