NAIFA Joins Other Appraisal Organizations to Urge HUD to Rescind Mortgage Regulation
The Appraisal Institute recently led a coalition of four organizations and 35,000 members, calling on the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to rescind regulations regarding appraisal management companies (AMCs). The coalition also sought new rules on AMCs. Click here to read the entire letter.

This year during the Membership Meeting, NAIFA will be awarding the Paul A. Wetzel Outstanding Service Award, Appraiser of the Year, and Educator of the Year Awards. Recognizing our peers is just one of the many benefits to being a NAIFA member. Congratulate your peers by recognizing their efforts and dedication to the industry. If you know a current member deserving of an award take the time to nominate him or her Please review the criteria below and submit a nomination form to the National Office. The Young Appraiser's Group Forum is designed for interaction between next generation appraisers. This forum is primarily for appraiser's 40 and under, however, all ages of appraisal wisdom are invited. To enter the forum:
