I see no postings in this. Appraisers keep talking about unfair AMCs are and about low fees for residential appraisals. Please look into this. They are actively looking for people to do relo appraisals. I got a call this week, I told them I was going out of town for our conference and would not be able to inspect the property for two weeks. They offered a good fee, they actually said please will you take this assignment, we cannot find anyone else. For some reason people are not doing relo work. I do not know why. With fewer appraisers willing to do this they do not put any pressure on you for turn time and it pays well. Look into this.
