NAIFA On Line Education NOW Available Illinois, New York.

Are you looking for education that is sensitive to your time and to your wallet? Look no further, NAIFA is pleased to announce the launch of our new On Line Education tool.  Online classes can be accessed 24/7 from the comfort of your home PC or from your office. Our first course is 4.7 FHA Appraisal Protocol Update.  Earn your 8 class room hours on your time - for only $99.   

How do I begin? Follow the steps below to get started today.  

  1. Click on the banner ad on the upper right hand side of the web site.  
  2. The link on the banner ad will take you directly to the web site to register.
  3. From the course library click on Real Estate CE (this is a the link for the Real Estate Appraisers Continuing Education).
  4. Click on Illinois or New York.
  5. Check the box listed next to the title of the course that you are taking and then click Add To Cart.
  6. Click Checkout and Proceed.
  7. Complete the registration and payment information.
  8. Once complete, a username and password will be sent to the email account that you used when registering for the online course.
  9. Enter your username and password and begin taking the course.

Items to note:  

  1. This course is currently only approved in the states of Illinois and New York. We are working on obtaining approvals for other states.
  2. Please make sure your pop up blocker has been disengaged.
  3. The course will need to be taken in sequence. It does not allow for the user to jump from one section to the next.
  4. Please make sure your sound is activated.
  5. Once the course has been completed, the student will be asked to print, sign and return an affidavit stating that they have successfully completed the course. You can either fax the affidavit back to NAIFA Headquarters at 312.673.4863 or mail it to:

  1. For Illinois students only – The National Office will submit your course on the Illinois state database within 24 hours of receiving your affidavit. We will then send you your NAIFA certificate of completion within 5 business days of receiving your affidavit.  
  2. For students who are from states that accept individual credit please fax back your affidavit to the National Office and then we will mail you a NAIFA certificate of completion along with an outline and description of the course for you to submit to your state. You can expect to receive this within 5 business days of receiving your affidavit.
State Real Estate Appraiser Regulatory Boards
Each state has an appraiser regulatory agency which governs licensing and certification for real estate appraisers.
