National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers and McKissock LP

NAIFA has partnered with McKissock LP to offer the membership online versions of The Appraisal Foundation’s 15-Hour National Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) course and the 7-Hour National USPAP Update course.

All state licensed or certified real property appraisers must take the 7-Hour National USPAP Update course, or its equivalent, every two years as a part of their continuing education requirements. All real property appraisers are required to take the 15-Hour National USPAP course, or its equivalent, as a part of their qualifying education to initially earn a state credential.

Take the Online USPAP Course:

  1. To get started, simply click here or on the Online USPAP link located on the NAIFA homepage. This will take you directly to the NAIFA portal.
  2. Click "Search Courses".
  3. Select your state to see if the 2012-2013 USPAP is available online.
*Please note that by default, the course approval for Illinois will show. There are still a few states where it’s not yet approved.
  4. Create a username and password and get started!
