The Joint Government Affairs Committee is comprised of representatives from NAIFA, AI, ASA, and ASFMRA.  These representatives are supported by a Legislative Committee of each organization addressing issues that impact the appraisal profession. Attempting to influence legislation, instill common sense into the "powers that be", and vigorously supporting the appraisal profession is an interesting journey.
